About Us
Maureen and Bruno bring a wealth of experience
to Stella G's. Bruno was born and raised in
Switzerland and perfected his culinary skills in
various resorts throughout Europe. Upon arriving
in the United States, Bruno worked in several
hotels and restaurants, most notably the Manor
in West Orange, NJ and the Golden Horn in Aspen,
CO.
Chef Bruno won acclaim for his gourmet meals at the
Auberge Swiss Restaurant in Berkeley Heights,
NJ. It was there that the Star Ledger awarded
him 4 stars and the New York Times bestowed on
him 3½ stars. He's also conducted instructional
cooking classes and has earned various gold
medals in cooking competitions.
Maureen is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of
America and is a pastry chef. She met Bruno in
Zurich, Switzerland where she completed her
